Last year I made these MAKE-A-MONSTER kits for the kiddo’s classmates. I loved the idea so much that I decided to make a couple big versions and send them out this year!
Make-a-monster kit ideas (I wrote this inside the lid to get their creativity going):
1. Make a monster Halloween card
2. Make a hand-print monster
3. Make an abstract monster
4. Make a pet monster
5. Make a monster collage
Paper treat bags from Wisker Graphics!
I wonder what the postal workers might think if they checked inside this box! heheheh… they might not get my humor!
Monster treats– M-n-Ms of course!
Monster fur– crinkle paper
Monster fluff– pom poms
Monster paint & brushes
Monster cards— kraft card stock
Monster hair– yarn (I don’t know why this one makes me chuckle!)
Monster spots— buttons
Monster glue— I almost forgot to put this in!!!
Can’t wait to see what kind of sweet monsters emerge from this box!

“Fall has always been my favorite season.
The time when everything bursts with its last beauty,
as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale.”
May God bless and keep you as we welcome this new season!
Happy First Day of FALL!

Happy Talk Like a Pirate Day!
You know we will happily celebrate like pirates anytime!!
Inside the treasure chest was vanilla yogurt for some sword dippin’! I wanted to make a little pole for “pirate fishin'” but ran out of time. Frankie was a huge fan of the fruit leather eye patch!!
On TLAP DAY you can’t just TALK like a pirate
you absolutely must…
Tell jokes like a pirate.
Laugh like a pirate.
Eat like a pirate.
most of importantly of all–
DANCE like a pirate!

Ohhhhh you should have heart the shrieks at the dinner table last night!
Emerson lost her VERY FIRST TOOTH! Before bed she informed me that she was going to wake up in the middle of the night to see what the tooth fairy left her!
Her joy and enthusiasm just melts my heart. I was just as excited to whip her up something special as she was to lose her tooth. I left all her goodies on top of her dollie bed.
The Tooth Fairy Left:
1. A brand new toothbrush
2. An official receipt
3. A fabric lined glassine bag to hold the $!
4. Fairy (dental) floss and tiny treasures
5. A Teeny Tiny Letter (copy of my handwritten letter reduced by 75%)
6. Fairy Dust (glitter & confetti)
P.S. Mom don’t freak out! I’ll post a picture of her toothless grin soon!

Back to school picnic dinner!
Fancy fancy PB&Js
100 candles!!! My sweet Granny would have been 100 in July. My dad hosted a beautiful family reunion-celebration in honor of her memory. Love and miss you GRANNY!
Hoping your days are filled with fun!!! GOD BLESS you!

We left with balloons.
We tried to feed “our” swans.
We dressed up in big sisters flower hat.
We played house. Lots of house.
We made lots of messes in the kitchen.
We played putt-putt.
