Bob Ross

Yes, for Halloween this year Blaise is dressing up as none other than BOB ROSS!  This costume just makes me giggle!  I’m sure a lot of folks won’t have a clue, but for real Bob fans this costume might bring a smile!  If you aren’t familiar with Bob, he is truly a unique character.  Here he is on Wiki… don’t ya see the similarities?

Blaise calls his costume BOB the PAINTER!

Blaise painted the “Happy Tree” and I added the frame from Goodwill.  This might be my favorite part of the costume!

Her Room

I had a vision for her room;

it would decorated with nothing but sweet vintage Kewpie dolls and antique lovelies.

Her space would be perfect, pink and PRETTY!

My vision lasted a week, maybe two!!

As for now

forty percent of the walls are decorated with custom crayon and sharpie art,

the Kewpie dolls and antique toys got a little too much love (aka broken),

and after a wild jumping escapade her “vintage” bed canopy spindle cracked off!

And you know what?

It’s OKAY!

Because the only thing her room needs

to be perfectly perfect is HER!

PS I took these photos on the only space that wasn’t ”well-loved-destroyed” — she was standing on her dresser!

Annual Whip Cream Fight

 Seven years and counting!

We are still going strong.

This summer tradition is definitely a KIDDO favorite.

Pops, my dad, is blame for the madness because he started this tradition when I was a kid!

Spa Night

While the boys were out fishin Emerson and I had some GIRLY time!!

We whipped up some face makeup by mixing baby shampoo and dab gel food coloring.

Her dolls got the FULL treatment!

I’m so thankful I have a little lady in my life!!  Her enthusiasm for girly things is so much fun.

I’m not sure if her dollies appreciated their make-overs, but Emerson sure enjoyed every single second.
