From the moment I saw Adventures in Eye-Bombing by the amazing Scrumdilly-Do I knew we had to give “Eye Bombing” a try!
…
Eye Bombing according to Eyebombing.com is the “act of setting googly eyes on inanimate things in the public space. Ultimately the goal is to humanize the streets, and bring sunshine to people passing by.”
…
We did a round of googly eye fun (which I’ll try to post on Instagram later!) and we did a temporary version with big paper eyes (above).
…
The kiddos loved hunting for the perfect object to make into a creature. And of course they were super excited to capture their work on my ‘Eye’ Phone (sorry couldn’t help myself)!
…
…
Eye hope you go give Eye-Bombing a try! (okay I’ll stop now!!!)

We were all in the mood for a fancy restaurant tonight!
So we hopped in the car and found the best spot in town. Their special is roasted parsley sticks and fresh acorn salad.
…
Some of us forgot to get dressed up for the occasion! Luckily they had a no shoes, no shirt… no problem policy.
…
The boys weren’t really into the fine dining experience. They of course were more interesting in playing. The girls had a ball!
…
I have to admit that I’ve been desperate for fall to arrive. My three favorite seasons are fall, winter and spring. Midwest summer is not on my list. BUT with a “dinner” like this I think I’m okay with summer for a few more weeks or even more!
…
Cheers! Love! Blessings!

8 years & counting!
…
Little did Frankie know what she was getting herself into when she was born into this family!!! We only put a teeny bit of whip on her head and her nose. Next year she’ll get the full treatment. We went through six cans in about 8 minutes. 2011′s fight here!
…
…
Hope you are having a wonderful summer!

Happy Valentine’s Day!!!
We had an extraordinarily simple day. Nothing extravagant. Nothing too fancy fancy.
(Except for some pretty wild hair styles!)
…
…
Every time I balanced the bow on her head she would shake her arms and kick her chunky legs– get that thing off me!!!
…
Emerson sure loves to be fancy fancy. Her style philosophy is– the more accessories the better. I just couldn’t help but giggle when she surprised me with this ensemble.
…
I just treasure this time with her.
…
Tickles and hearts for Blaisey. Poor fella has been sick with a terrible cold. He was still well enough to enjoy a small box of chocolates.
…
and I leave you this Valentine’s Day with a meditation that brings me so much comfort and joy.
But, God, You have surrounded me with Your love.
You envelop me with concern
and undergird me with grace.
When I reach out for You,
you are close enough to hear and to respond.
Whether I am awake or asleep,
you are near to me and will watch over me.
I do not have to be afraid
of these problems that assail me.
The conflicts of my life
will not separate me from You.
