Sharing with you today, one of my favorite meditations by Leslie Brandt, based on Psalm 133,

and a bike ride…

“How great and glorious is our God!

copyright-katherine-marie-111413g

From hour to hour,

from day to day,

our lives ought to overflow

with praise and gratitude.

copyright-katherine-marie-111413f

 It is amazing, even fantastic,

how our God permeates every facet of our lives

copyright-katherine-marie-111413l

and can work out His purposes through them

despite our human faults and failures.

copyright-katherine-marie-111413

He creates beauty out of the dust

of our fallen natures.

Out of the ashes of our failures

He brings forth meaning and purpose.

copyright-katherine-marie-111413e

He exalts the humble and enriches the poor.

He transforms our weakness

into channels of strength.

copyright-katherine-marie-111413i

Our emptiness becomes a vessel of His fullness,

copyright-katherine-marie-111413c

our spiritual poverty the basis for His eternal grace.

copyright-katherine-marie-111413k

 Our errors and mistakes are

stepping stones to success.

copyright-katherine-marie-111413b

Our defeats are but incidents

on the road to victory.

copyright-katherine-marie-111413m

But this is God’s doing, not ours.

copyright-katherine-marie-111413n

How great and glorious is our God.”
